Laura Walls is a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a visionary leader in the fields of airway health, orofacial myology, and pediatric therapy.

As the founder and CEO of Innovative Oral Solutions and Innovative Therapy 4 Kids, Laura has dedicated over three decades to advancing interdisciplinary, whole-body care for children and adults.

A pioneer in data-driven therapy, Laura developed the My MouthWorks™ digital platform, an innovative clinical tool that empowers
therapists and healthcare providers with structured protocols, outcome tracking, and patient-friendly interfaces. Her programs integrate evidence-based methods across speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and chiropractic care.

Laura is widely recognized for her work in collaborative care models, especially within chiropractic and dental communities, where she educates practitioners on the clinical impact of airway, TMJD, and orofacial dysfunction on posture, sleep, cognition, and neuromuscular health. She is the creator of the MyoRhino™ Assessment and co-developer of the Oral Placement Appliance (OPA), both of which are used in therapeutic and

Intended audience: Speech-language pathologists and related professionals interested in
airway-focused speech-language pathology.

This course explores the relationship between airway function and speech-language
pathology practice, with emphasis on orofacial myofunctional therapy,
airway-related signs and symptoms, assessment measures relevant to SLPs, and
integration of airway-focused findings into intervention planning. Participants
will review practical clinical concepts related to posture, breathing, jaw,
lips, tongue, speech, swallowing, voice, and sleep as they relate to airway
function.

Partial Credit

Partial credit is not available for this course. Participants must meet all
satisfactory completion requirements to be eligible for ASHA CEUs.

Intent to
Earn ASHA CEUs

Eligible participants will be asked during registration or course completion whether
they would like their completion information submitted to ASHA CE to earn ASHA
CEUs. Participants must indicate intent to earn ASHA CEUs. Learners may provide
their 8-digit ASHA ID number if available.

Refund,
Cancellation, Complaint, and Accommodation Policies

Refund and cancellation: A full refund will be issued if the course is canceled by the
provider. Participants who cancel at least 7 days before the course may receive
a full refund. No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the course. If the
provider reschedules the course, participants will be notified and given
available registration or refund options.

Complaint policy: Questions, concerns, or complaints regarding this course should be submitted in writing to the provider within 30 days of the course date. A
response will be provided within 10 business days.
